1829 O.112a Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS AU58 OGH, Prooflike, ex Meyer

From the Montross Collection, earlier in the renowned, complete collection of Charlton "Swampy" Meyer. Swampy bought this coin from Sheridan Downey's 17th mail bid sale, May 1996, lot 51. Contained in an Old Green Holder. Light golden toning graces the solidly PL surfaces. Of course, every nick and mark appears to be magnified, but PL Bust halves are very popular and quite unusual. Here is one with a great look and a nice pedigree as well.
