As many of you will recall, the EJ Collection was assembled by a very patient, careful, knowledgeable collector who is still active, but beginning to whittle down his holdings. The coins are uniformly magnificent in terms of the primary factors that are important to him - surface quality, originality and eye appeal. This coin is simply superb. There is but one tiny darker spot, on Liberty's jaw line, but it is seen only at certain angles and is truly trivial in any case. Everything else about this great coin is stunning.
