1878-S Morgan Dollar PCGS MS64

A lovely arc or rainbow toning on the obverse and a fairly scarce holder should make for an interesting coin for somebody. This is a Generation 2.1 holder, produced only from Oct to Dec 1989, just after the “Doily”. It features an added frame around a small, rattler style holder, though with the addition of a gasket, the coin doesn’t actually rattle. The frames proved to be pretty fragile, and most seen these days are damaged. This one has a scuff or two and a tiny cracked area, but is is complete and fully intact.
