1881-S Morgan Dollar PCGS MS66, Gen 2.2 Holder

Here is a 66 from back when they still knew how to grade coins! This is a darn cool holder as well, for those that may care...it is a Generation 2.2 holder, produced only in December 1989 and January 1990, and representing a bridge between the rattler style and the modern, interlocking shape. This is one of the short-lived "frame-around" holders, that simply wrapped a supplemental frame around a rattler shape. The frames were not particularly durable, but this one is in fine shape, being fully intact and showing only a minor nick here and there. A very cool package!
