CAC approved. WOW! Based on the strong luster, lovely originality, beautiful preservation and exceptional eye appeal, I was hoping for a XF grade. But, the coin does have a bit too much wear for that grade. It does not lack anything in terms of surface quality, originality or eye appeal however, in fact, it excels in all! This is Bowers Die State IV, with cracks all over the reverse, noted as “rare”. In my mind, the important part is the coin’s exceptional beauty.
