CAC Grading.  It is an amazing occurrence that a coin like this could circulate for as long as it clearly did, and survive as perfect as it has, having avoided all the bad things that could have possibly happened.  Consider the vast majority of its relatives and counterparts.  They have been cleaned, scratched, holed, plugged, worn smooth, melted, counter-stamped, bent, gouged, engraved, run over by trains, acid-treated and damaged in innumerable other ways, while this coin remained above the fray.  For the assigned grade, I consider it: an object to be treasured.
