1822 25/50C B.2 Capped Bust Quarter PCGS VG10 CAC

Description

CAC approved. There are a total of 5 of these with green CAC stickers, in all grades combined, and VG10 is the highest grade! PCGS has graded a very small number of Uncirculated examples, but most of these are in low grades. The highest circ grade thus far awarded to an example is XF40 (a single coin) and there are only a total of 5 that have gotten a VF grade. This is a rare coin, especially so when PCGS graded and CAC’d. So, it certainly doesn’t hurt that this also happens to be a very pleasing, problem-free specimen. The pics don’t lie…this is a nice coin!
