1837 1/A R4 New York Feuchtwanger’s Composition Cent PCGS XF40

A very pleasing, if not perfect example of this scarce die variety. Actually considered a Hard Times token, it is an interesting and reasonably easy series to collect…though there are a couple varieties that will pinch a little! Obverse 1 is very distinctive, with the date that runs uphill in a pronounce way, so it is really easy to spot. Yet, I almost never find it!
