Description
Dusty, chocolate and original, with soft luster. A brushing might well bring this coin alive, but the holder its in – a Gen 2.1 Frame-Around-Rattler – is not only too old to sacrifice, but too cool as well. Made only from Oct thru Dec of 1989, it really is a transitional holder, from Rattler to the integrated, stacking rim type we still have today. In this Gen, a rather flimsy plastic collar was simply placed around the original rattler form, thus providing a stacking rim. This one shows a little bit of cracking a crazing, as they almost all do, but it is fully intact.
