1860-O Liberty Seated Dollar, PCGS VF30 CAC

CAC approved.  One of the finest mid-grade Seated dollars we’ve had in stock in a long time.  Too bad it isn’t a 72-S or a 71-CC…but we don’t get to choose.  We take what comes our way, and quite cheerfully!  The surfaces are truly smooth, the color is exceptionally appealing and virtually perfect to my eye: medium golden gray with bits of luster and just the right amount of soft “gunk” built up here and there to prove complete originality.  How do I feel extremely confident in saying that?  Easy.  Soft “gunk” is easily removed in any sort of cleaning process, even a very mild, non-abrasive, almost unintentional one.  Here, the soft “gunk” is undisturbed, and as such, is a truly grand thing.
