1878-CC Morgan Dollar, PCGS AU50

Description

From a very old-time deal we’ve been buying – yes, I know you hear that all the time – this old-time deal is the real deal!  This coin has the kind of surface quality and antique patina that simply cannot be faked.  I don’t know all the details, but I speculate that these coins were put away by someone who had some coin knowledge, likely worked at a bank, and was active  – very active – after World War 2.  A simply lovely example of this first-year issue.
