CAC Grading. 100% full disclosure: I sent this coin back to CACG for reconsideration as a 58+. They declined, as you can clearly see. I think the reverse, on it’s own merits, grades MS63, and is perfect for that grade. And both sides are totally original, fully lustrous, well struck and incredibly appealing. But, I think there is a tiny bit of handling friction on the obverse. So, I do think the correct grade is 58+. But I also expect to see this coin graded 62 by the other major brands. It’s a real conundrum, but I can’t really argue too strongly with CACG’s position…the coin clearly never actually circulated.
