1896-O Morgan Dollar, CACG AU58

Description

CAC Grading.  Full frosty white luster and just a tiny bit of abrasion.  Hard to imagine this coin actually circulated, but if it did, it couldn’t have been for more than a few days, max.  And then, just put somewhere completely out of harm’s way and forgotten about, for maybe 4 or 5 generations or so.  If only this coin (heck, darn near any coin!) could talk!  The pics don’t lie folks…this coin looks new at a quick glance, but CACG got it right on the nose…it is a perfect example of an AU58.  PCGS or NGC might call it 58+, we didn’t try.
