1922-D Lincoln Cent, PCGS MS64 BN CAC

Description
CAC approved. Beautiful “Brown” color that is roughly 35% red on the obverse and at least 50% red on the reverse. I know what the current rules are, but it seems a shame to lump a coin like this in with a truly brown coin. Don’t get me wrong…I love brown and smooth copper…maybe more than any other color. Especially when those coins take on subtle hints of iridescence or they become deep, smooth chocolate luster bombs. But it just doesn’t seem right to call this coin brown. Too simplistic. Short of the mark. The coin is sweet.
