1935-D Washington Quarter, NGC AU58

Description

Historically, I have not been a huge Washington quarter guy, but have come to appreciate the series much more over the last 10 years or so.  This is a killer 58.  In fact, regardless of series, this is what I call an AU63.  But for a tiny, barely perceptible hint of rub or friction, this coin would easily grade MS63.  And, some of you might do so in any case!  The luster is essentially full, the surfaces are very clean, the strike is excellent, there is just a hint of original dusty golden gray (and when I say a hint, I mean that literally).  This is a sweet coin in every way.
