An original, un-dipped coin – and though the “market” prefers these bright white – this is exactly what a proof 1938 Mercury dime that has been respected is supposed to look like. We did not send to CAC due to cost and timing issues, but I fully expect a Green Bean should you decide to send it. In a perfectly preserved, Gen 4 holder, c.1989-1992.
