Library of Coins Volumes 37 and 38, Large Cents, Parts 1 and 2, 1793 – 1857. In coin terms XF and AU respectively. Although a nicely matched pair, these albums are from different print generations, with Vol 37 being the later issue. Still, the exteriors match very well, and to the casual observer, they appear the same. Vol 37 has some minor ink staining on the front cover, and very minor shelf wear. There is a small erasure at the 1804 opening, and a small sticker at the 1808 12 Star opening (“1810 S-285”), but otherwise, signs of use are minor. Both albums are fresh and clean, with bold spine lettering and tight bindings, Vol 38 especially so.
